Welcome to Hope Kids!
We’re so glad you’re here. At Hope Kids, we create fun, safe, and age-specific spaces where children—from newborns to Grade 5—can discover who Jesus is, grow in their faith, and learn how to love and serve others. Your kids will be welcomed by caring leaders and experience a morning designed just for them. Everything we do is shaped by our church’s mission: to introduce Jesus, deepen faith, and serve others—starting from the very beginning.

Nursery
Our Nursery is a peaceful, nurturing space where our littlest ones are lovingly cared for. With age-appropriate toys, music, and attentive volunteers, we create an environment that feels safe and calm for babies and reassuring for parents. Whether your child is snuggling, sleeping, or exploring, our team is there to meet their needs and show them God’s love.

Preschool
In our Preschool room, learning about God is full of movement, music, and wonder! Through fun Bible stories, songs with actions, crafts, and play-based learning, preschoolers begin to understand who Jesus is in simple, joyful ways. Each Sunday includes time for free play, group learning, and moments of prayer, helping kids build friendships and faith in a setting they love to return to.

Kindergarten
Kindergarteners thrive in an environment where they can be both imaginative and engaged. We guide them through creative Bible stories, hands-on activities, and worship that captures their hearts and attention. Small group time helps them start building deeper friendships and begin applying what they’ve learned through thoughtful conversation and prayer—laying a strong foundation for the years to come.

Grades 1-3
Our Grades 1–3 environment is designed to be fun, welcoming, and full of energy! Kids start with games and activities that help them feel at home, then move into a joyful time of worship with upbeat songs and a memory verse. Through creative Bible teaching—like videos, crafts, and storytelling—they discover who God is in ways that stick. Each Sunday wraps up with grade-based small groups where kids can ask questions, pray together, and grow in faith and friendship.

Grades 4-5
Our Grades 4–5 environment is all about connection, challenge, and fun. Each week begins with a warm welcome and space to build friendships, followed by engaging, Bible-based teaching that encourages kids to think deeper about their faith. In small groups, they dive into meaningful discussions, prayer, and age-specific activities that help them apply what they’re learning. We wrap up with a high-energy time of fun—whether it’s games, challenges, or team-building—so they leave feeling known, encouraged, and excited to come back.

FAQ
When do I bring my kids to their classroom?
You are welcome to drop off children under age 3 in the Nursery as soon as you arrive if that works best for your family. For kids ages 3 and up, we invite families to start the service together! After a couple of songs and announcements, children will be dismissed to their classrooms. You’ll have a four-minute break to help them get settled before returning to the service.
How do I pick up my kids?
After the service, simply head to your child’s classroom. To ensure a safe check-out, please show the registration code that matches your child’s name tag. Our team will sign them out and return them to your care!
What are my kids learning?
We are passionate about helping kids discover the heart of God through age-appropriate, Bible-based teaching. Stay connected by signing up for our weekly parent email, where you’ll receive a lesson
overview and follow-up questions to help you continue the conversation at home!
What if my child needs me during the service?
If your child needs you, we’ll display their unique code (found on their name tag and your pick-up tag) on the main screen. If you see your child’s code, please head to their classroom.
What safety measures do you have in place?
Your child’s safety is our top priority. We follow Plan to Protect, the highest standard of care policy, to ensure a secure environment. Our volunteers are thoroughly screened and trained, we maintain
appropriate child-to-leader ratios, and our classrooms have video monitoring and a dedicated security team. If we have a question about your child or need you, we will notify you on the main screen!
I have more questions!
We’d love to help! For any urgent questions, stop by the Welcome Desk in the Atrium, where our team is happy to assist you. If you’d like to connect with our Family Ministry Pastor or have additional questions, feel free to email us at kids@hopeinnerkip.ca. We'd love to hear from you!
I want to get involved.
Kids are awesome. And so are you! Our Hope Kids crew gets to laugh, learn, and love big every Sunday—while helping kids discover who Jesus is. Want in? We’d love to have you on the team.

Do I need experience?
Nope! We’ll train you and help you find a role that fits your comfort and gifts.
What kind of commitment is required?
We work with your availability. Some serve weekly, others once a month. We’re flexible!
Is there a background check?
Yes. For the safety of our kids, all volunteers go through a screening and training process.
